Purpose of the role:
The purpose of the role is to lead all site-related activities based on agreed strategies and plans, being directly responsible for on-ground facility operations. This role includes maintaining clear communication channels between the client and the internal team. Mobilizing the team, the focus is on delivering world-class facilities management services and meeting contractual obligations. The role demands consistent adherence to high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Objectives:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize all facility-related activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance, utility and energy management, waste management, and variation work proposals.
- Establish and maintain strategic relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure seamless execution of facility operations, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Implement a structured subcontractor performance management system to ensure accountability, effectiveness, and continuous engagement of external partners.
- Provide innovative, technically sound solutions to operational challenges, applying engineering judgment and expertise to enhance overall facility performance and efficiency
Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement comprehensive Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) plans and checklists to optimize equipment performance, reduce downtime, and enhance overall operational efficiency.
- Maintain an up-to-date on-site asset register to support effective asset management and enable accurate financial and lifecycle reporting.
- Monitor the availability of tools, equipment, machinery, and materials on-site to ensure optimal resource utilization and drive cost-effectiveness.
- Leverage the Computer-Aided Facility Management (CAFM) system to manage PPMs, reactive maintenance, inspections, and other operational tasks, improving service efficiency and transparency.
- Provide key inputs for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting to management, contributing insights that support continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
Project Management:
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure efficiency, quality control, and compliance with project schedules.
- Report critical electrical issues and escalations to the facility manager promptly, facilitating quick resolution and minimizing project disruptions
- Implement periodic audits of the electrical team’s performance, providing constructive feedback and insights to enhance overall project management effectiveness
- Raise material requests and coordinate with the procurement department for timely delivery, ensuring project timelines are met without delays
Promote and implement green initiatives that drive sustainability within electrical operations, aligning with corporate social responsibility and environmental goals
Team Management:
- Lead and mentor the electricians & ground team, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet project objectives and professional growth
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, setting clear performance expectations and goals
Education :
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Additional certifications in electrical systems preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Industry: Facilities Management / Projects / Technical Consulting / Real Estate Management / Community Management / Construction.
- Previous Role: Mechanical Engineer, Engineering Coordinator, Facility Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, Facility Coordinator.
Knowledge & Key Skills:
- Proficiency in electrical systems design, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Experience with CAD software and electrical design tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures for electrical systems.
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, O&M manuals, and project reports.
- Knowledge of electrical system capacities and models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
